Hi Ingrid,

My project is tied with Connect for life which operate in Gosnells, Rockingham and Mandurah. The provide support for personal needs of carers who support a loved one with mental health concern/ illness

We have found that we haven’t been able to engage with young people 16 – 25 as much as we would like. So my mission is to seek out barriers and strategies to help services as a whole engage people in this circumstance. For this reason I am looking at hearing responses from young carers themselves, service providers or support workers that may directly or indirectly interacting with them in any extent. Whether they are part of a youth program, mental health service or advocacy group etc. I am open to all perspectives.

I am running a focus group on the 28th January 10:00am – 11:30am at the Anglicare WA office see attached Agenda for more details.
Understandably it is short notice but if you know of anyone who would also like to take part but cant make it have web survey for them to fill out down below.
